The Game Master position starts and ends with the guest experience. Heavily based on social skills, Game Masters must have the ability to be an enthusiastic, genuinely pleasant guide for large groups/teams of players. Must be comfortable with public speaking and the art of small talk; plus, be able to set the tone as a fun, helpful "host". This means being able to effectively communicate rules, guidelines, and storylines in an exciting way. Game Masters remain alert, sharp, and focused while surveying their team in order to accurately help the team, and be a part of ending their experience with a high note whether the team has success or not.

Game Masters serve a key role in fostering the fun and immersive experience for guests. They are called to be knowledgeable in all aspects of the position, while also maintaining the lighthearted and exciting atmosphere that Red Door Escape Room provides. Game Masters accomplish this by putting guests first, being a team player, and always looking for ways to give their best. (No knowledge/skills of technology, or "gaming" is required, but may be a plus.)

Responsibilities and Duties:

Enthusiastic public speaking, including briefing and debriefing groups, explaining the episodes and rules, guiding the groups to their episodes, etc. Monitoring groups remotely via the control room, providing assistance through requested clues or hints, maintaining the immersive aspect of the episodes, coordinating with the Front Desk staff, problem-solving issues efficiently, correctly resetting episodes, and maintaining the cleanliness of the control room and each episode along with the facility as a whole.

Front Desk Attendant

Our Experience Coordinators represent the joyful face of our company. They are the first point of contact for our customers and help to set the tone for their experience at Red Door Escape Room. They are customer service experts and are responsible for creating clear lines of communication for our customers. Experience Coordinators bring a positive spirit and radiate a welcoming presence to anyone who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Coordinating with the Game Master staff, welcoming and greeting groups, selling merchandise and recording inventory, answering customer’s questions, guiding customers to the waiver stations, hosting large groups & parties or corporate events, problem-solving issues efficiently, handling all online/email or phone inquiries, encouraging groups regardless of outcome, and maintaining the cleanliness of the front lobby and work space.
